THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

Greetings from Gettysburg!

My first blog was written and published on November 22, 2015. Almost eleven years of writing blogs. This is my 534th published blog and finally, I have the full set of the original books. The first and last books are different colors. But the picture doesn’t quite show it.

I am currently working on the 1st memoirs book that is a 2nd edition. All scripts are written from the memoirs books. Which means, I have to get a move on. I am, at this point, wondering if other writers will be brought on board to help write the episodes. I am certainly open to it. Before, I wasn’t. But when it comes to an ongoing live action series, I absolutely believe (now) that other writers would be extremely helpful.

The trailer is out of the country being worked on as well. There are scenes not written in the book series, and there again, why I think having additional writers at some point, is a good idea. Plus, in all honesty, I am not sure if I even want to write the entire live action series. There are other things that I would like to do. But for now, this is my world.

Fall is a beautiful time here in Gettysburg, with all the leaves changing. But I think I love the snow on the battlefields the most.

I cannot wait to show the true beauty of God and this historic place. I hate the politics of the town. But I love the battlefields. I do not love the carnage that happened here. I do not love the political garbage where Confederates are hated in this town, even more so than before. Reenactors both Union & Confederate used to walk the town and have Living History at various places. Now, it is rare to see a reenactor walking around. They have Living History, but not to the extent they used to.

The town changes. But the battlefields never do and perhaps why I choose to stay here. I hope to bring the real Gettysburg to life through our story. I am so looking forward to starting production. I simply cannot wait!!!
