I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding the use of AI. I can assure you, no AI was used to write the books, screenplay, or the back of the book covers. It also was not used on the front cover photography. This story took over seventeen years to finish and the screenplay took eight. AI wasn’t a thing when I first sat down to write the story of Summer Ray.
Largo AI Script Analysis: Showed me the film’s potential. It took three different analysis, to finally get the “fantastic results,” we wanted. I first had coverage for the script many years ago, analyzed by a person. Largo AI’s coverage, showed me that I needed to be more clear in how I expressed who was speaking. Example – Younger Summer Ray, Middle Aged Summer Ray etc. It didn’t help me write the story. It helped me to format a few areas to make the script better, plus a tremendous amount of other information.

Teaser Trailer: CHATgpt was used for the slides. I did this to help bring the story to life. There will be an official live action trailer, once post production is completed. I did pay an extremely talented artist to create a montage of scenes via oil paintings.
I use the paintings at book signings, on cards, posters, and on marketing materials. They will also hang on the walls of our production office. But I couldn’t get the look and feel I wanted, to use the scenes in a trailer. I believe that the use of AI in the right way is a good thing. The use of it in the wrong way, obviously isn’t. I get a lot of emails from people who clearly use AI in their descriptions of the books. It tells me they didn’t actually read them. It is an instant, “No,” for me to do what they are asking; be interviewed, join a book club etc. Normally, these types of solicits, I would have to agree to pay. The descriptions are absolutely amazing. But I would rather it come from the heart of someone that is connected to the story, like an actual book club, not a generic one! Or someone reading the books on their own. I didn’t write the story just so it could be wasted on AI. There is no quality in that. This review is the connection to the story that I am talking about that I do not believe AI can give. But I do believe used in the right way, it can definitely be a tool. I agree wholeheartedly that we should not rely on AI to do our thinking or we would never learn! I hope this clears up where I stand on the subject of AI!
