THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

So, I started From the Heart Productions “Intentional Filmmaking” class. (www.fromtheheartproductions.com). When you are taught by experts, you listen, and then you act. One of the biggest things that jumped out at me was making this website better. Plus, due to having damaged vocal cords, my pitch was the worst. I think there are a lot of people out in the world who have disabilities, who think they cannot achieve a dream because of it. I just have to figure out a better way to pitch and for me, it’s using visuals, having a few characters present and having help speaking. I can also use American Sign Language that helps me talk. This is how the leading lady, Summer has to speak after her accident. Due to her injured brain, she has Traumatic Brain Injury and sign language helps. At times she can’t quite get the right words out, but when she signs and speaks, she is able to.

Soon, I am going to have the books in audio, and I will add more videos in sign language. Just to gain my skills back (I used to be an interpreter). The theaters where the film is released, will also have open captions.

•To maintain a manner of excellence, by keeping core values of human welfare, social goodness, kindness and benevolence; through storylines pertaining to fiction and nonfiction as well.

It is because we are so passionate about our mission that we will do what ever it takes to keep updating and leveling up, to make our projects and everything that goes with them, the absolute best they can be.
