Well today is the first day of the Content22 Film Festival & Media Summit. It’s so exciting. Any time we can promote Summer Ray and expand our horizons, is awesome! We will know Thursday if the script wins an award.
The showcase will be on display and we sent a lot of material, including brochures etc. Believing for the best!
My Intentional Filmmaking class starts next week. Wow! I had an on call class this past Saturday about working on our pitch. Whew. A lot of information and I am taking tons of notes. The picture below is just some of the things I keep on my desk. Soon, I will be working again on our vision board with goals on it.
Carole Dean, our Fiscal Sponsor (www.fromtheheartproductions.com), wrote the bottom affirmation. Keeping these kinds of thoughts and visuals out in the open that I see daily, are imperative! She also wrote more that I printed out and need to put on my desk or vision board as well. The Bible states,
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18
In this case, if my vision of the project is negative, such as, “I won’t get funded,” or “It’s impossible to get this done,” “I am horrible at pitching,”…all these negatives will produce that. I will attract what I believe.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7
Read that again and again. The “so is he” part is scary because if I am thinking all this negative crap, so is he! This is what I will produce. It is not easy to stay positive. Discouragement is in full supply! It takes courage to believe the impossible. But Jesus said in Mark 9:23:
“If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
I absolutely believe our Summer Ray books, film & made for TV series project, will be huge successes worldwide. It is just the working out of the details to get it there.
