With the first snowfall in Gettysburg, of course, I had to get to Big Round Top. Wow! Summer Ray started here, going on thirteen years on February 09, 2009. I even slipped and fell down again. Thankfully, I didn’t get hurt this time and cut my hand open. But it was kind of nostalgic. Totally unintentional though. It was like the soldiers were reminding me of the past and almost laughing at me. Or they were trying to tell me to get a move on with the film! I cannot wait to bring them the honor, I have been so wanting to bring.
The goal is to definitely start production in November of 2022. There is still a great deal of work to do. I also have to finish the 7th book – Rising from the Ashes. I have learned not to try and force my writing because it just doesn’t work. When the time is right, the book will be finished.
It is nice to have clear, precise and well laid out plans. But, it’s taken twelve years to get here. It is just super exciting to be able to see production in sight, and know that we can finally start filming. So, let me say, “Thank you,” for being a part of our Summer Ray world. Onward to production!
