New Year's Resolution… Ha!!! I don’t think I have ever been faithful in what ever it was I was resoluting (okay not a word). But I do believe we need to set goals realistically. For the film, my goal in 2022 is to start production with the train scene in November.
Another goal is to have the skating scene also finished in December.
There, I have two obtainable goals that I know we can accomplish. But these two goals, will take an extraordinary amount of hard work and planning; not to mention funds, cast & crew. Still, these are absolutely two goals that I know we can get done as we start PRODUCTION in 2022! I am smiling already because I have never been able to say that before. It’s exciting.
So, instead of me trying to look at the whole picture, I need to take it piece by piece and figure out exactly what, who and how much is needed for those two goals. My planning needs to start now, so that we are not caught of guard because we were not prepared! I am a stickler for preparation. It is defined as “the action or process of making ready or being made ready for use.”
I would like to see the script get more nominations and even awards. I feel those accolades only help our project.
