HIS COURSE!

One thing about blogging, I can go back and re-read our journey. Time is so precious. We must take care of it. Ben Franklin stated, “Lost time can never be found again.” The few seconds it has taken me to write just two sentences, I can never get back. As we come to the close of 2019, I have wanted to see (in perspective), if the time this year on Summer Ray was used wisely. Did we plant enough seeds? Did any of those seeds bear fruit, and if not then why not? Did I plant an orange seed, expecting an apple to grow? Did I not go out on a limb far enough to pick the fruit? Did I not shake the tree hard enough? Did I try to eat fruit that wasn’t yet ripe?

I believe 2019 was the year for planting seeds. This means that some of those seeds out in the world, are still taking root. We want them to take root. We want them to intertwine and become strong enough to grow and to bear the fruit we need. I also believe in 2020 that we will SEE those seeds, grow into the fruit, we have been waiting and longing for. 2020 is about having perfect vision. As we go into our 12th year with Summer Ray, I know that doors are going to start opening for us like never before. We will see manifestations of what we are needing to move forward, and to PRODUCE this pilot. Produce is defined as – cause (a particular result or situation) to happen or come into existence; things that have been produced or grown, especially by farming; cropsSo in essence, God is going to cause to happen or come into existence the things that we have been planting and growing. Our crops are about to show up and Wow! Praise God.

I honestly did not think we were going to make it to production in 2020. But, God has other plans. The produce is going to cause production. Production is defined as – the process of or financial and administrative management involved in making a movie, play, or record; a process of combining various material inputs and immaterial inputs (plans, know-how) in order to make something for consumption (output). It is the act of creating an output, a good or service which has value and contributes to the utility of individuals.

And this my friends, is exactly why we do what we to. To create an output (mini-series), a good or service which has value and contributes to the utility (something useful, profitable or benefical) to individuals.

2019

1). Brought on board two extremely important board members.

Gavin (Line Producer); Susan (Deaf Mentor)

2). Final decision was made after years of struggling to make Summer Ray a mini-series

3). Brochures were made and handed out and mailed

4). Newsletter was created – kept up with biweekly/monthly

5). New franchise name Harbour Love Media & Management

6). Found a Christian Entertainment Attorney

7). Website is world-wide now

8). Cut off wrong people and wrong directions

9). Pilot script finalized and locked

10). 2nd script finished, 3rd script in the making

I am sure there is more to add to the list. But these are the ones that come to mind so far. It’s time to see our seeds start to bear fruit. We ARE going into production in 2020! Praise God. I am so excited. I cannot wait to see how HE does it. I literally saw a vision of Him taking the wheel (like a ship wheel) and turning it fast and sharp to the right. As previously stated, I didn’t think we would start production this coming year. I just realized that Harbour Love is our franchise name and why I saw a ship wheel. I will have to add a ship wheel to our logo. It will always keep me reminded that God is the one at the helm. The person at the helm is the person in charge, and if you happen to be at sea, that person is the one steering the boat with a device called a helm, the mechanism that keeps the boat on course. Yes! God is keeping us on course, His course!
