They say, “When things are falling apart, they are actually falling into place.” I have to say it has been a pretty crappy past few days. But in the film business, days like this come and go, and only those who are truly committed will stand the test of time. I am not always strong. There are days when I feel like my Summer Ray world is crumbling around me. But, I am not so desperate that I will sell out to the highest or even the lowest bidder at this point.
I take a step back, reevaluate, side step and move forward. I have not lost hope. I have not quit. I have just made certain adjustments for my health and well being, and for the good of the series. When we find ourselves in desperation, we tend to make rash decisions that we have no business making. We fall into hopelessness and we make drastic mistakes. These substantial errors could cost us big time, and even our dreams. So, stop and collect your thoughts.
If our foundations are shaken, we have to inspect the reasons why. If things were actually able to collapse around us, not just feel like they have, then it means our foundations, our footings, and substructures were not stable, nor strong enough to withstand the storms. It is like our house was built on sand and as the Bible says, “It fell.” But not only that, it also stated that, “Great was the fall.” I cannot imagine the loss I would feel, if I gave up over ten years of work due to a storm.
When we are solid and firm in our foundation, if we are building it upon the rocks, the floods can’t sweep us away. WE WILL STILL BE STANDING!!!
