I have had people tell me after they have donated to the project, “I wish I could give more.” I also think that some people feel bad for only being able to give $1.00, $5.00, or $10.00 and because they don’t think it is enough, or that it will help, they don’t give at all. I was reminded of a story in the Bible about a poor widow woman. It is found in Luke 2:1-4.
“And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”
When $1.00 is all you have to give, your donation is worth to us and to God as much as someone who is able to give $1,000. It is just as much appreciated too and it will go help create this first film. A one dollar donation, combined with other dollar donations, adds up to a lot of dollars. So, if you are reading this, I want you to know that any dollar amount is precious to us and we greatly appreciate you. Thank you again and again for your support. Even word of mouth, and liking our The Memoirs of Summer Ray Facebook page is of great help to us. Truly, we appreciate you and truly, we are forever thankful for you!
