THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

Happy New Year to all! As we go into 2023, I am truly excited about this. My 2022 wasn’t that great. In fact, it was brutal. I lost my twin brother and for a moment, my life was dead too. But thanks be to God, who absolutely saved me again! I was buried in grief, but it wasn’t the end!

In February, we are starting our 14th year? Yes! 14 years. Can you believe it? I know I can’t. It is hard to imagine. But, here we are. “This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.” Marvelous 2023! I saw that on Kenneth Copeland’s website. I just looked up that scripture and it is Psalms 118:23! Marvelous is defined as, “causing great wonder; extraordinary, astounding, astonishing, amazing!” I love the definition, “causing great wonder.” I can’t even imagine the wonder the angels saw, when God created the earth, sun, moon, stars, man etc. The only way we could have lasted this long with all of the trials and tribulations we have been through, is because God wanted us to. His hands are on this project. So, one cannot up and quit with that kind of help, and knowledge. This is the Lord’s doing…! He is providing all we need to get this two hour, full feature pilot to distribution. It might not seem like to to some, and many have walked away because of they thought it was a failed project. The ONLY way this project can fail, is if I give up and I can assure you, I never will. I will see this through till the final film, or the final episode! Why? This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. I can’t walk away from God. I continue to move forward sometimes at a snails pace, other times at a cheetah’s pace. But the point is, God is still with us. He is handling all the necessities, and timing. Our Proof of Concept video, took years of hard work that only lasted for 22 minutes. But, it is the best thing we could have done. It has so much information tied to it. Our Fiscal Sponsor said we did, “An incredible job.” Those words of encouragement, literally felt like rocket fuel to me. Because when someone like Carole Dean says you did an incredible job, guess what…you did exactly just that. She doesn’t mince words, or tell you what you want to hear. She tells you like it is. I have been on the end of both sides and it was like a huge sigh of relief, knowing she is happy with our video. This now catapults us into, continuing on with confidence. Being the writer of the books and screenplay, even though my reviews have always been amazing, my confidence wasn’t always where it needed to be. Now, I feel like I can do anything; tackle anything; and stand in front of anyone I need to and pitch this project. It’s awesome. Because I know that we have a good story, and that my friends is where it all begins – with the story! Here is the video.
