A lot of times, people question how I can still keep moving forward with the project, when it looks like nothing is happening. Well, much is happening. It is just behind the scenes. Even when we get to production, it is still behind the scenes. What we are doing, won’t be shown until the premiere. I have faith that God will see us through to the final, “The End.” So, it isn’t faith that is needed. What I need more of is patience. To be patient is to be, “able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.” Well, I already know I failed in the patient part. I have totally become annoyed and anxious at times, due to the delays and setbacks. But I didn’t quit. I kept moving forward and if there is one thing I hope that I can help you with, is to keep moving forward. The work isn’t done until the finished product is distributed and even then, there are premieres and so much more. For us, it will be starting the first episode. I believe in Summer Ray’s success. But it is tiring at times and life does get in the way. Yet, during those delays, some amazing things have happened. So, it isn’t all bad. We just have to look at things from a different angle and see the good. Before January 2021, it was looking like we weren’t going to be able to film on the Gettysburg Battlefield. Well, now we can and it is fantastic. Had we started filming last year, or even the year before, that would have not happened. We also are looking at other places to film one of our train scenes. This too, wasn’t an option before. It’s the crack of dawn for us, when the sun just starts to peak out over the mountain. The dark nights; the sleepless nights; the agonizing silence – it’s a new day for us at Summer Ray! We have left yesterday behind with development and we have moved into pre-production. It is the end of one very long era as we start a new one!
Onward.
