Since our truck is in the shop, I have had to use the bus or walk to where I need to go. During this “Coronavirus” pandemic, it’s a tough and scary time for all of us. No one is immune to the shut downs etc. I pray this blog finds you well and in good health.
But in the midst of all this panic, as I was sitting on the bus staring out the window, I saw birds as happy as they can be; without a care in the world; eating, flying and just being birds. I was then reminded of a scripture.
“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matthew 6:26
Summer Ray is ALWAYS on my mind because the heart of the matter is for us to help, light the world. Steven Spielberg once stated:
“I wanted to do another movie that could make us laugh and cry and feel good about the world. I wanted to do something else that could make us smile. This is a time when we need to smile more and Hollywood movies are supposed to do that for people in difficult times.”
The Summer Ray pilot is back to being a 90 minute feature film or a 2 hour made for TV special. Either way, it is Hollywood worthy! It has the potential to help people smile more. It will definitely make us “laugh and cry, and feel good about the world.” But, like those birds I saw this morning, I just need to trust God with it.
My prayer for you is this, that you too can trust that Father God who feeds the birds of the air, will take care of you as well. Be safe; Be strong; Be well!
Till next time…
