Busy life and not all of it is due to Summer Ray. But when I have to travel back to SR, sometimes I just don’t feel like it. Yes! I just said that. Cold winter days around here, have been pretty drab – lacking brightness or interest; drearily dull. (Woohoo for dictionary.com or I would be somewhat lost while blogging). But seriously, it’s been dull, colorless and I feel washed out. I have planted millions of seeds that have seemed to have been washed out too. They have been lifeless, or fruitless. But, isn’t God good!!! I am not always positive, strong and full of miracle working faith. Sometimes, I lose it and I have to find my way back. But thankfully, God is still with me. He never leaves. “To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under Heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1. There is a season and a purpose for Summer Ray. But it is in God’s season and for His purpose. I can’t dictate when the funds will be provided, or how. I cannot say at the moment which network will accept us, nor can I even state when we will start production. I can only plant seeds and continue doing what I am. See, I have talked myself happy. Why? Because I know that spring is just around the corner. “Lo, winter has past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth. The time of signing birds has come.” Song of Solomon 2: 11-12 Winter doesn’t stay around forever. Spring does follow. Those seeds that I planted, they are springing up in ways that I cannot yet see. Just like when I plant a seed in the ground. I don’t have to keep digging it up to see if it is growing. I just trust that at the right time, it will spring up from the dirt and grow according to the seed I planted, in the correct season. But, the point is, I do not see the seeds growing and taking root underneath the ground. On top of the soil, it is cold, hard, brown and there again, drab. What feels lifeless on top of the soil, is growing under it. But another point too is this. If flowers spring up too soon, due to an unseasonably warm winter, they could also be ruined if a cold snap just happens to show up too. We don’t want Summer Ray created in the wrong season and with the wrong purpose. I have to always remind myself that this is His project. I am only working on it for Him; me and everyone else that He has chosen. I just have to keep faith alive. Summer Ray has a purpose. God’s purpose for which only He knows the true impact this story will have. Spring – is on the way! I look forward to the creation of the Summer Ray Series and how it will be brought to life!
