THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY
I think it has been close to a year, since I read all of the series. So, while changing the book font to match the screenplay font (to give the books more of a movie feel), I re-read the story. Half-way through the story, my thought was, “What was I thinking?” I have come to the conclusion that it wasn’t actually me doing the thinking. I am just a vessel the characters decided to write their story through, as it is for certain, they have taken on a mind of their own.
Spanning 400 years of American History, all up and down the Eastern Seaboard, Summer Ray finds herself in some pretty harrowing adventures. As if reading the story for the first time, I found myself reduced to tears, and at times, laughed out loud as the characters related to real life, day to day living. All the while, preserving the history that is in danger of being erased.
I am excited to see all 5 books in one place, finally! But, there are still 2 more volumes. I have decided not to finish the 6th book , and not write the 7th one just yet. The epic way the 5th one ends, I am not going to give away what happens next, too soon. There are close to 2,000 pages, in the series, so far that literally spans 4 centuries long. There again, I ask myself, “What was I thinking?” Although, there are already 100 pages written of the 6th book, I am focusing on the first film and the 2nd screenplay.
I cannot wait to see, the work of the creative genius’s, who will bring this book series to life. I am looking forward to the epic adventure on the big screen, and so should you! For truly, you won’t be disappointed!
