THE LOST SHEEP!

I am reading a book by Bill Winston (pictured below). He stated, “We are to train up godly entertainers and politicians in the Church to go into Hollywood. You’ll find that God’s way is to deliberately plant the righteous among the unrighteous. In DARKNESS IS WHERE THE LIGHT SHINES THE BRIGHTEST (caps mine). Over the years, I have been told to never go to Hollywood. Why? Because exactly for the reason above. It has become increasingly ungodly and extremely far out Left Liberal. So, do we as Christians just shine our light in the light? Did not Jesus (as our Shepherd) talk about the parable of the lost sheep?

Then Jesus told them this parable: Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?” Luke 15:4 NIV

What if you were the one lost on the hill, and no one came looking for you? I keep this snow globe right on my desk so I can see it everyday.

We plan to attend the American Film Market in California hopefully next year. https://americanfilmmarket.com. Hollywood is the biggest film market in the entire world. Much like New York City, is the gateway to the entire world (which is in the story). So, yes! We will go where ever we can to get this story out into the world. We are seeking the lost sheep that need the light of Christ to shine on them. But also, we want to entertain people, by giving a compelling story in which they can immerse themselves; to just sit and forget about the outside world as they become part of what they are watching…anticipating what happens next. I always think of the late great Stan Lee and what he once stated:

“I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic-book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people’s lives. Without it they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you’re able to entertain people, you’re doing a good thing.”

So, onward. We are on the move. We are diligently working hard (again), as I was sick for the last eight weeks, but we are on the move again to get this story into production and then….distribution. I cannot wait!

Thank you for being a part of our Summer Ray world!
