“Summer Ray This Fair and Blighted Land: Is now one of my favorite books. If you love history, romance, angels and demons, you will love this book. I for one love it! So detailed, you feel like you are in the book. It’s sad, and hopeful at the same time. You will be on the edge of your chair while reading, to see what comes next. You would want to stay up till midnight trying to get to the end too see what happens. Summer Ray will have you relate to her in some type of way that you will understand; if that is the romance or even if it’s the sad and hopeless parts. You will feel as if her emotions are your emotions in every chapter. You will know what Gettysburg is really about in this book. Thank you, Juliana for giving us a book that is as amazing as this one!”
It has taken years to perfect this series. Perfect is defined as “having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be.” My goal all along has been and will continue to be, to make the book series, the full feature pilot as well as the made for TV series, as good as it is possible to be. But having all the required elements, qualities and characteristics that makes something as good as it can possibly be, takes years and years of hard work. It takes frustration, patience, and determination. Just when I think something is where it needs to be, either the updates in the film industry are updated, or I have grown in my own craft. If someone takes their craft seriously, it means we don’t stay at the beginner level. We continue to grow and to learn, to make things as good as they can possibly be. I say it takes frustration because it is just part of the climb. I get frustrated but I do not allow it to control the outcome. I don’t give up and quit. So when I am frustrated because I have to fix something, eventually I am thankful because it was best for the project. I never use the flaws and defects along the way as defeat. I use them as a way to catapult this project into something far greater, then what I first imagined. I have learned to trust God in this and He always shows me how to make this project, as good as it is possible to be. But there again, it takes work. It may be taking longer to produce then I wanted. However, it is not in my timing, but in God’s. He know the exact release date and He knows how to make this project as good as it is possible to be. So, I take each step He gives me and I walk forward with it. I will say this, we are closer to our funding then ever before and each new day brings us closer. So it’s not the time to be discouraged. It’s the time to be excited for what the very near future holds and that is starting production and seeing it all the way through to distribution. We will get there! In fact we are getting there right now. We are moving forward. We are working on the project. God will make it beautiful in His time!
