The one thing I always have to remember about Summer Ray, is that it is a story and I am the story teller. After reading the books again just to make sure they are polished, I noticed that I was still as captivated by the story today as I was when I first wrote it. No matter how many times I have read it, I am still drawn to it and almost held captive by it because I have to keep reading to know what happens. I don’t always remember what I wrote and sometimes it is if I am reading for it for the first time.
REVIEW:
“(Volume 1) Summer Ray This Fair and Blighted Land: Is now one of my favorite books. If you love history, romance, angels and demons, you will love this book. I for one love it! So detailed, you feel like you are in the book. It’s sad, and hopeful at the same time. You will be on the edge of your chair while reading, to see what comes next. You would want to stay up till midnight trying to get to the end too see what happens. Summer Ray will have you relate to her in some type of way that you will understand; if that is the romance or even if it’s the sad and hopeless parts. You will feel as if her emotions are your emotions in every chapter. You will know what Gettysburg is really about in this book.
Thank you, Juliana for giving us a book that is as amazing as this one!”
It has been one of my most greatest adventures writing the story of Summer Ray. Being older now and reading it again, I wonder how in the world I was able to write, at times, about such dark and gory stuff. But one of the main points of Summer Ray is to show what Hell could actually be like; a place where no human should ever have to spend eternity. This truth, is woven inside the pages of the books, and many other realities along side it. But one cannot forget, the story as a whole. The key word and the key point is that it’s a story and stories are meant to both enlighten us and entertain us. The great late Stan Lee once stated:
“I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers, and then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people’s lives. Without it, they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you’re able to entertain, you’re doing a good thing.”
Steven Spielberg said,
“This is a time when we need to smile more and Hollywood movies are supposed to do that for people in difficult times.“
We are in a time in which we most definitely need to smile more and to be entertained and good stories with vivid imagination, can and does help us do just that. I do not know exactly when the pilot “A Redemption In Time” will hit the theaters, I just know that it will, and it will be at the perfect timing of a perfect God!
