A postcard was sent by “Drew”, on the very day of the unveiling, (June 2, 1913, to Mrs. M.F. Patterson in Winston-Salem, N.C., and says: “My dear Mother, This is a photo. of the unveiling of our new monument to those who left the Univ. to enlist in the army in 1861. The parade yesterday was a fine one, & Mary & the other looked very picturesque in your dresses. We’ll take good care of them & thank you for them. All well. Love to all. Affectionately, Drew.”

Let’s see, at the Golden Globes Christian Bale thanked Satan. Miley Cyrus told her fans that the way to get rich and famous was to worship Satan. Apparently JZ is also a Satan worshipper. Well, the devil is the god of this world. He is abundantly rich and has riches to offer those who will willing accept them. We have now in Congress those who worship Allah and who hate Jews, and Christianity. We have people in leadership who sneak in at night and remove Confederate monuments. The latest was the Silent Sam pedistool, with college kids chanting something like, “To Hell with Silent Sam.” A plaque on the statue that once stood stated:
“To the sons of the university who entered the war of 1861-1865, in answer to the call of their country and who’s lives taught the great lesson of their great commander that duty is the sublimest word in the english language.”
Sublime is defined as “of such excellence, grandeur, or beauty as to inspire great admiration or awe.” What the hell happened? UNC at Chapel Hill, almost 106 years later, went against its own students who left their studies to enlist in the war, to fight for their beloved North Carolina. Thankfully, M.F. Patterson and Drew are not around to see their beloved Silent Sam ripped down like disgraceful trash. It is such a dishonor to those students who “gave their last full measure of devotion!”
To those students, we will remember you! We will honor your sacrifice and we will somehow recreate that postcard in one of the Summer Ray films. I will see to it! Oh and Father God, I praise and worship You! The one TRUE GOD! Love you, Lord. I do! I do! Thank YOU for helping us to get where we need to be with this book & film series.
