WE WILL DO IT!

In watching the Golden Globes on January 6, 2018, first I was impressed that it wasn’t political and there was no Trump bashing. But, what brought me to tears was when Glenn Close won an award for Best Actress in a film drama. She was stunned. But, wow! Such a beautiful moment in time to be able witness it. She said it took 14 years for “The Wife” to get produced. She also stated that it was a good story and why it needed to be made. This warmed my heart because it is precisely how I feel about Summer Ray. We have to stop looking at the time it takes to produce it. Like a fine wine, things take time and there are some things worth watiting for.

After seeing the 3rd painting for our new pitch trailer, I am simply blown away by Lori’s talent. It is so amazing to see what the film will look like. Having actual people painted into a few of the scenes, it is bringing the characters to life. This takes time to perfect. If Lori was any less of an artist she would have them all painted in a few weeks. But a true artist, doesn’t rush. With our pitch trailer, we have gone the extra lengths to make it professional. We will finally be taken seriously. Anytime you go the extra mile to make something of the best quality, people take notice. We have a story to tell. We have a mission to help others and we must get to production. Over the years, I have learned to change the way I view things and the way I say things. I have taken the word, “try” out of my vocabulary. As Yoda said, “Do or do not. There is no try!” We will do what we need to, to get the funds to start and finish the film, all the way to distribution. There is no try. With God’s help, we will do it!
