THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

Hallelujah! My Author Media Kit is just about finished. It will be added here on this tab on the website: https://thememoirsofsummerray.com/author-media-kit/ most likely with a download link. But the good news is that it is almost finished. Of course, I was dreading having to do it because, once again, I thought it would take forever. Nope! The total time will be about three days. Over the years, I have collected a lot of information. I created a film, “Look Book” that I also just found. I was able to use some of it. Most of the information in the kit I can transfer to the Pitch Deck. Plus everything is digital and can be emailed or downloaded. But I do plan to have printed copies at book signings. So, for my six months goals from June to December, I am actually ahead. Hallelujah again! But I still have a lot of work to do. The 1st memoirs book is half way done. I have books 4-8 to add to Kindle still. I have to do some more maintenance on the descriptions on the books. I had no idea book three had a typo on the back cover – ficitional. It wasn’t until I did the author kit that I realized it. So, thank God that is now fixed. But then there was not adding punctuation to the 7th book back cover too. A proof reader will be in my future, for sure! It didn’t matter how many times I went over those books. Hopefully, they are now without typos. But let’s be real. The story is close to 2,000 pages. Somewhere, there will be typos. But I strive to make them as small as possible. When I see a problem, I immediately fix it. Now my blogs, I pretty much just write from my heart, whatever I am thinking. I generally don’t stress the editing before I push the “Publish” button. I do go over it. But my blogs, I don’t consider to be work. The blogs are like a journal that other people hopefully benefit from. By reading about the ups and downs of my journey in this business, maybe others don’t feel so alone and can be encouraged. But a lot can be referenced just to real life stuff!!! I love being able to connect with the world and why we are striving to reach more countries.

The new teaser trailer is in the works. Although no AI was used to write the story, script, or was it used for the book covers, AI is used for this trailer. This is to show more of how the story (live action) will look like. This is Austin and Elizabeth. But that is all I will say about it. 🙂

I am confident the trailer will be released within a few months. I am excited that so much progress is being made. It is kind of freaky but a good kind of freaky. I have started the new fundraiser, working on the perks, and building an inventory. Case in point! I have an event this Sunday. I ordered books last month and I do not think they will be delivered in time. Thankfully, it is a craft event and I do have other stuff. But I still wanted to display the books and promote Summer Ray. Well, no books! It only reinforced my need to build inventory before I agree to do any book signings. Onward!
