As I was finishing up the edits on the 3rd book, Her Yankee Heart,
Jason and I went back to the Monocacy Battlefield in Frederick, Maryland. (https://www.nps.gov/mono/index.htm) Our initial plan was to stop by the Best Farm. You can see it in the background. But due to the snow, we couldn’t get in. So, it will be a spring adventure.
Our Fiscal Sponsor Carole Dean of From the Heart Productions (www.fromtheheartproductions.com) lives in California. When I told her I have never been there, she told me, “You will love California but where you live has so much history and you are the one to tell these stories.” I have been infatuated with history ever since I was a little girl, like completely obsessed with it. I knew I would be a writer. I just didn’t know the details. But here I am much later in life, a writer. I LOVE being able to write and to connect with readers. Soon, it will also be viewers of the pilot film and the Live Streaming episodes. The final book in the original Summer Ray Series will be released, July 04, 2026. Curt Radabaugh as the General George Washington, will be on the front cover. There is no way, when I first sat down to write this story, that I could have planned to have this last book released on the 250th Anniversary of America’s Independence. It is a God thing or as some say, “a Godwink.”
I am, at the same time, building the inventory for the soon to be shop on the website. I will also have these bookmarks in Spanish.
There will be a lot of different items on the shop. But it takes time to build as I need to have a large inventory. I don’t want anyone who orders something to have to wait. I want to be able to ship things out right away. There will be a large stock of books to order directly from me, plus other crafts. I love making things as it helps to relax my brain after researching and typing all day.
The 3rd book will be released shortly. Then onto the 4th one – The Journey Home! I have until the end of June to get this all completed. What a glorious feeling that will be. We will start our 18th year February 9th. To have the last book released on the 250th Anniversary of America’s Independence, is God blessing our project. Summer Ray is an American patriot! She and I both love our God, our families, and our country! But if you are outside of the United States, we also love you too. I may write about America because I live here. But Salvation is a global need!
