THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

I am getting more and more excited by the day. This Fair and Blighted Land (volume 1 – 2nd edition), will be available soon. I am working on merchandise for the new store as well. Plus, I am in the process of running as a “Write – In” for Mayor of Gettysburg. Over the years, I have seen this beloved historical town decline in ways I never thought possible. Some even tried removing the Confederate side of the war, and especially General Lee’s – Virginia Monument.

Gettysburg is surely not the town I once wrote about. Reenactors graced every square inch of the town, no matter the day. They brought the history to life and brought millions to the economy. It is a tragedy in and of itself that they are now so few and far between. If elected Mayor, I will do my best to try and bring them back. But regardless, I am thankful I was able to capture the real Gettysburg and will be able to film it just as it was in its glory days. This was all before politics corrupted it. Gone are the days when it didn’t matter who you voted for. American citizens respected each other’s rights to vote. I am a 100% Trump supporter. I am a Conservative Christian Republican. I am a Patriot. I love my God, my Family, and my Country. I support Israel. I am not ashamed of any of it.

Martin Luther King Jr., once stated:

“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people

but the silence over that by the good people.”

As well as,

“There comes a time when silence is betrayal.”

I refuse to remain silent about injustice. There were 51,000 casualties during the Civil War here in Gettysburg. Soldiers were killed, injured, missing, and many are buried as Unknowns. Yet, their blood is being trampled on by Liberalism. Jennie Wade, the only civilian to die in the three day Battle of Gettysburg was quietly making bread for Union Soldiers. Yet, many want to do away with the history here. It is a disgrace! The story of Summer Ray – Gettysburg is at its heart. Its purpose – redemption. This is why the film/Live Streaming series is titled, “Summer Ray – The Redemption.” I honestly do not know how fast the remaining seven books will be released. I suspect Savannah’s Calling – (volume 2), will be out in a few months. As soon as I have volume 1, I will be making a video of it on Big Round Top, where the story of Summer Ray first began over 17 years ago.

I drove by Big Round Top this afternoon. My love for this battlefield and the story of Summer Ray never gets old. They are a part of me! But it grieves me to see what is happening to this small historic town. It doesn’t deserve the vulgarity and the hate. Hardworking people, do not deserve to lose business because of it either. We must turn things around and bring back the real Gettysburg!
