My book cover below Adam’s design, is truly amateurish. Thankfully, I grew to trust Adam’s brilliance and I am so happy I did.
So what is new with their distribution platform? After careful reconsideration, I decided to keep them on Amazon as well as sell the books from my website: www.thememoirsofsummerray.com! Soon the store will also be up and running. With me as the official publisher and the books having their own ISBN and barcodes, I can distribute them to stores. I didn’t like having to sign contracts with the other platform. Volume 1, should be released in a few weeks. My goals are coming along, just not as fast as I had hoped. The goal is now to have all the books redesigned by the end of December, and start 2026 with them all ready to go. This includes finishing the 8th and final book. OMG! It is now June 2nd. I have seven months to complete all of this. There have been a lot of distractions – health, political, a move, upcoming vacation etc. Thankfully, I am back in my office and able to start working again. All I know is that God “works all things according to the counsel of His will.” Ephesians 1:11 (NKJV). I may feel behind, or delayed. But He is working all of this out, according to the counsel of when He wants these books released. It is really quite a relief. It doesn’t mean that I can be lazy, or sit back and let Him do the work for me. He also knows when production for the pilot will start. We have the necessary plan and goals in mind. We know what we need to do, in order for that to happen. The timing, however, is in God’s hands. I love my new logo. Adam also did an amazing job with it!
But these are things I am starting to cross off my list. Which a few months ago, I couldn’t. So, we are making progress. We are forging ahead. We are getting things done. It would be a lie if I said, I wasn’t anxious. I am. I am anxious to get the books done, so we can finally concentrate more on the film pilot. Well, at least the books being finished is in sight. I cannot wait!
