It’s the last day of April 2025! Although I didn’t finish my three month goals from January-March, I did manage to get serious about getting organized. I will now get those goals accomplished within 4-6 weeks. I was frustrated to say the least. But instead of whining about what I couldn’t do, I started working on things I could, like making items for the new store on the website. I always try to find ways to keep the project moving forward. But not only that, I like to have reminders. In this case, with this bookmark, it is a scripture.
I have some with mental health, teachers, cats, and self care – so far! I will have a large inventory of them as well as keychains, among a lot of other things. Doing stuff like this helps to relieve some of the stress. I have spent many years working on perfecting the books. Although Amazon gave me a great start as an Indie author, we are moving the series to their new platform within a few weeks. At least, the first two books are ready and the rest will follow. I will be going to Boston and Concord, Massachusetts for some Revolutionary War research. Yes! I am giddy about it. This is to finally finish the 8th book in the series. Having George Washington on the cover (which this is just a draft cover), but having him on it, truly captures my love for America’s founding and some of what this book is about.
In the meantime, I am also submitting the promo/book trailer to film festivals as well as the pilot script. I will also submit a few of the story boards, once I find a festival that accepts them.
So, things are definitely moving forward and I am learning to trust God’s timing with all of this. Juliana Love Publishing will finally be an LLC. I will have a new logo that I can add to the back covers as an imprint as well. Plus, I will own the ISBNs and barcodes, and I can put the books anywhere. I feel, (trying to find the right words), I feel solid! I don’t know how else to describe it. But it is like we are finally standing on solid ground. Our roots with this project run deep and cannot be uprooted. This project is cemented and there is no turning back from that. We are legitimately going to see this through to the end. This is how I feel about all of it. I start a new class May 29th with our fiscal sponsor From the Heart Productions www.fromtheheartproductions.com! This class will help with writing the episodes. So, onward!
