STILL IN PURSUIT!

I am still working on behind the scenes stuff and a lot of it. The main thing I am working on is getting the books ready for their new platform. Things are taking much longer than I had anticipated. But that is because there is so much to do with eight books. I am also doing research for the 8th book, and hopefully I will get it finished this year. Once the first seven books are on the new platform, I can concentrate on it more. I watched the promo video and although it isn’t the official film trailer, it is still nice to see how far we have come.

It was neat when I first appeared in the video at the beginning, the sun wasn’t shining. Then all the sudden the sun came out. That smile is genuine. It felt like God was shining His approval down on our project and it just made me very happy. Sometimes, I just have to take a deep breath and remember that He is with us. I may want to rush ahead and get it all done like yesterday. But that isn’t realistic. I can only go at the pace funding allows. But there are still a lot of things I can do to prepare and get ready, once funding starts rolling in. I can have things in place when it is go time. The books on their new platform, Pitch Deck, the new and improved website, the merchandise for the store, are all things in the que that are being worked on.

I love this scenerio:

When Gideon came to the Jordan, he and the three hundred men who were with him crossed over, exhausted but still in pursuit.”

Judges 8:4 (NJKV)

Exhausted is defined as, “drained of one’s physical or mental resources; very tired; completely used up; worn to shreds.” Pursuit is defined as, “the action of following or pursuing something;  the act of chasing or striving after something.”

I am definitely used up and worn to shreds. That describes exactly how tired I am. But I am still in the act pursuing, chasing, following and striving to get all of this work done, and get Summer Ray out into the world via books and visual mediums. I can’t stress about when all of that will happen. The books first, Pitch Deck, and website are right now on the top of the list. I need a professional “Media Kit” too. I need to redo all of my headshots because I am – let’s just say, “more mature.”

Thank you for being a part of our Summer Ray world.
