THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

Whew! It’s been almost a month since my last blog. Normally, I try to keep up at least a few times a month. But it has been a whirlwind lately and I am finally now just finding some time to catch up. All is well in our Summer Ray world. But things take time to accomplish. The books are still being edited and will also have their new and highly improved books covers. Although I love the ones they had, I needed to trust in the brilliance of our production manager. They will also be on their new distribution platform here soon as well. This website, will have its own upgrade as well, complete with a new store. I am actually so excited about that. I will have a huge inventory of merchandise. I have been working on these bookmarks and having a lot of fun.

I am collecting what I need to make our Summer Ray soap line too. At least one of the soaps will have her honeysuckle essential oils; others lavender, vanilla etc. I am still learning about it all. But the first batch will be honey (raw), oats and goat milk, added with the honeysuckle. I am happy that this project is expanding in ways I never thought it would. But it all does take time. As soon as my publishing company is an LLC, I can get the bank account open for the new distribution platform and get them on their new site. SostarSun Productions LLC will also be renamed. The crafts will also have their own LLC. All will be formed in Gettysburg now. It will keep things a lot simpler in terms of organization, taxes, banking etc. So, we are moving forward and we have the necessary plans to get them in place. I would say, within the next six weeks – the books, LLCs, bank accounts, new distribution platform and Pitch Deck will be finished. The next goal will be the new website. But in the meantime, I am making items for the website and it is a nice change. It makes me happy and I am not so stressed. Editing isn’t easy and it certainly isn’t fun. But when the finished product is something that you can smile about, the stress and the time invested is worth it. We sincerely want you to have the best from my books, and also from the film pilot and Live Streaming episodes. You are worth it!
