What I see happening right now with the project, is that God is helping us to pour the footing of what we are building.
“In building construction, a footing is the part of a foundation that transfers the weight of a structure to the ground, ensuring stability and prevent sinking or uneven settlement.”
Concrete is being set so that we will have a solid foundation on which to build. This project long term, is huge. If there are cracks in our foundation, it could cause a collapse later on and this is why, we are working so hard to “revamp” – give new and improved form, structure, or appearance to.” The structure as a whole must be in place. Let me explain from experience. Construction crews have been outside my door for months. It has been a very long winter because of it. Detour after detour, loud noises to the point my apartment building shook, plus – it was just a total inconvenience. They had to dig up the old concrete, and get to the water pipes that look like they hadn’t been changed in 100 years. The rust was unbelievable. But I also think they were expanding the pipes to allow for more homes to be built. It has been a very slow process. But new pipes and new sidewalks are the end result. Some of the old sidewalks were cracked as tree roots grew under and around them. It was in some places, dangerous. But regardless of the complaints of the town; regardless of the weather; nor the amount of time it took, (it was only supposed to be three weeks that has turned into five months); they still didn’t stop. They are still working on it. But I can start to see the end results. Summer Ray does not need cracks in our foundation.

We cannot be ill prepared. We need to be professional in our “endeavor” – “try hard to do or achieve something.” We can work hard and achieve something that collapses, or we can work hard and achieve something that will stand the test of time. Do I get upset, frustrated, and weary about how long everything is taking? Of course! But do I understand that God’s timing is always perfect? Yes! So, I just keep doing what I need to do, in order to make sure our foundation is solid. Then we can start to build. Our website, is being redone to make it more user friendly and professional. I am an amateur when it comes to this kind of stuff. I don’t know how to create a store, or to create a site that draws attention. We must have the books and film stuff in a better format. I know it needs work and I am so thankful we have someone who knows how to fix it. The books are being polished. I can’t really say they needed a lot of editing. Just a few simple fixes to the formatting. So, I like the word polished. Polish makes things shine! Like teeth polish, or nail polish, etc. This is the finishing touches of the books and I cannot wait. But it is taking time. But like new concrete, once it is done it is done, and it will stand the test of time for many years to come. God is ensuring our footing, our stability and He is making sure we do not collapse or sink. Thank You, God!!!
