THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

I went from having a billion things to do, to having now a trillion. Total exaggeration. But it feels like a trillion! Had I not been a script writer too and being a producer for the film, all the book stuff would have been taken care of long ago. But wanting to expand the books horizons, there is a lot of work that needs to be done, to ensure the series reaches even further and made available in stores. This of course, is also while working on the film side of things too. But I have dedicated 2025 to getting the books where they need to be, along with promoting and marketing them. This also means book signings etc. But that cannot happen until the books are on their new platform. If by the summer they are, I hope to schedule a few book signings with some of our Summer Ray characters with a meet and greet. But first things first. Last year I did not expect to be doing all of this. But God has led me on this path towards the future success for the book series, as well as the Live Streaming/Live Action series as well. We are broadening our horizons and it takes time for it to stick and to create the buzz we want it to. “Create the Buzz” – “to generate excitement or interest in something excitement.” Once the books are on their new platform, I am going to relaunch the series. I have decided to combine the original series with the new The Memoirs of Summer Ray series, just in Summer Ray’s first person point of view. I feel so much is lost from just using my own author point of view and why I have made this decision.  

These two books will now be combined and below is how the title will look.

I am not sure if I can keep the pictures as the new platform may or may not reject them in terms of photo specs. If I can, I will. If not, I will have to work on that. But right now, I am working on ISBN’s and barcodes, getting Juliana Love Publishing as an LLC, and getting a new business account strictly for the books and scripts. JLP owns the scripts and oddly enough, my film company SostarSun Productions has to buy the rights from JLP to use the script. I know exactly what I need to be doing and I am doing it. I get frustrated because I get one thing done and like 100 more things are added. But I will persevere.

I have on my email signature a quote by Colonel Henry Knox about Crossing the Delaware.

The snow, the ice on the river, and the freezing temperatures, gave us a very small glimpse of what happened the night they crossed the Delaware. But they did the impossible and it was because they persevered regardless of the circumstances. I am just going to keep chipping away at what obstacles are in front of me and get the job done as professionally as I can. Onward!
