ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

So, the final, final, final edits of the new trailer are finished.

There were edits that I didn’t need to make – like a one second timing issue, or forgetting to add something to the “CREDITS.” Viewers may not have noticed, but I did. It became a tedious task of trying to get it right. I believe in doing our best. I feel that if we give our best on the little things, it will carry over to the official film. This video is a promo and it is meant for advertising our project. But it truly is the best one yet! I am very proud of it and so thankful to be surrounded by such amazing and talented artists! I am happy, I will not be the one to create the official trailer. Because Wow! This is very hard (yet thrilling) work. It took a few weeks of editing. But as previously stated, I am very proud of it. I plan to submit it to book and film festivals. So, the search for that begins. Our FilmFreeway profile is: www.filmfreeway.com/julianalove!

I am in the planning stages of creating an online store on this website. I am also at the same time working on expanding the books distribution platforms. Talk about tedious. The books needed to be changed to the required specs. The font needed to be changed as well. But if it makes the books better, I am all for it. “Tedious” is defined as, “too long, slow, or dull; tiresome or monotonous.” I also think of the word, “meticulous.” It is defined as, “showing great attention to detail; very careful and precise.” I feel like a jeweler crafting a diamond ring and all the small intricate work that goes into it.

But it’s a diamond ring. It cannot be anything less than a masterpiece. It must sparkle and shine. It must be authentic. It must have value. But the creator must also find satisfaction in his or her finished product. One cannot pass off sterling silver for a fake overlay. Eventually, the overlay wears off and reality is shown that it is nothing more than a fake. We don’t want anything painted on. We want to bring our audiences something real! I am not saying we won’t use CGI or Special Effects. What I am saying is that we value you and want to bring you the very best we can. You work hard for your money. We don’t want to see you waste it on something that looks great on the outside. But has nothing of value on the inside. I have seen films recently, where a woman was wearing lipstick in one scene and not from a different angle. Or they changed lip colors in the same overall scene. When an actor walks through the door, the lipstick needs to be the same color as it was when the actor first started. It is little details like these that I might drive people crazy with. I care deeply about the viewers and those who will be sticking it out with us for the long haul. I am extremely detailed oriented and in this capacity, it will be put to good use! It is not something that I will ever apologize for. The finished product will be something I can be proud of. It will take a lot of attention to detail for that to happen.
