These are the new book covers (pending). BECAUSE I am buying my on ISBN (International Standard Book Number), for all the books, I have to redo the covers so they are not like the original series, which will be unpublished with these in its place. I am still working on them. But I love how they are turning out so far. I am still working on them. These are only drafts so I can see what they look like together. PLUS the interiors are getting upgraded. So, why the new ISBNs? Right now, because the ISBNs belong to Amazon, I cannot expand our distribution in other stores etc. I will be republishing with Amazon, but I can also go with other distributers too.
I am also finishing the 8th book. It should be done in a few months. I hope to at least. We did get some really great news from our script analysis. The first time being thoroughly analyzed, we did well. It is the first one and many things still need to be added to it. But got to say, we didn’t do bad. It is encouraging because our emotional intensity score was high. The genres actually turned out to be
DRAMA, ADVENTURE as the main genres, THRILLER, ROMANCE as the sub genres. Historical Fiction wasn’t an option on the analysis. But I will certainly have it added.
One of the notes was “interesting.” This was in regard to the audience being 50/50 male-female split. This doesn’t usually happen. Meaning, both male and female are equal in numbers watching the film. Normally, say with Hallmark, it is mostly women. War movies could be mostly men (just examples). But Summer Ray – The Redemption is both 50/50. So, that is really exciting. Progress may seem slow, but each piece adds a little more to the final finished products of the books and films. So, I do thank you for your patience. We are getting there!
