Wow! So much is going on. I am checking into a different publishing/printing company that will expand the books. They will still be on Amazon as I do love the fact they can be printed in different languages. I am still researching. But liking what I have found so far. Speaking of research, this 8th book – Wow! I can’t spill it. But it does involve the Gettysburg National Cemetery – again and some of the prior books. I am very fortunate to live in Gettysburg. That statue behind me is the Soldiers’ National Monument. https://www.nps.gov/places/soldiers-national-monument.htm; https://www.nps.gov/articles/000/soldiers-national-cemetery.htm It is truly spectacular. It is almost as if their eyes are real and you can feel their presence. But it is Gettysburg and I do not expect anything less.
But I also finally found what an actual wheatfield looks like.
This is at Pickett’s Charge. The place in the books that we are filming is actually the Wheatfield where the Colonel McDaniels and his men are fighting. But we won’t be able to film there, as there is no wheat. Jason (Lt. Colonel George Jameson)
told me, we need to plant wheat in the fall if we plan to film in the summer. But we may even film at a field that already has wheat. It is just neat to see the different contrasts of summer/winter. I have a lot of research to do, in order to finish the story of Summer Ray. It’s actually cool to see how it is all coming together for the final book. So, onward.
