THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

Truth be told, I am actually giddy sitting here typing this blog. We are finally starting our film website. I will also have a new film email address: juliana@summerraytheredemption.com! As in stated in my blog yesterday, https://thememoirsofsummerray.com/2024/04/29/expanding/ I have to separate the writing part of the project, from the film part. It is just another milestone and I am so excited about it. Tomorrow, I submit the script and video to the first film festival of the 2024 year. Wow! I have written over 400 blogs since I started this website. One day, I will go back and put them all in a book, in hopes I can encourage other authors, screenplay writers and Indie filmmakers. But there is still a great deal of work to be done. I feel we are just getting started. We are crossing over into a new phase of this project. So, we reached the top of one milestone, and now we are crossing over into a new one. I am giddy and nervous, happy and scared. It’s thrilling and it’s terrifying. But I know that God will lead our project to great success as the Bible states in Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP)

“He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time.“

I love the (AMP) translation because it adds the word appropriate in its time. It is defined as, “suitable or proper in the circumstances, appropriate to the current time, period, or circumstances; of contemporary interest.” When I first started writing this story, I didn’t know what the future state of the world be, especially here in America. BUT GOD DID! This story, on film, will be released at exactly the appropriate time that God has specified. I do not know exactly when that will be. I just know we are getting closer. I can see the signs. I am getting the scripts ready and doing what He inspires me to do. He has HIS producer/s, director, film crew, actors, funding, locations and everything necessary already lined up. But He won’t release HIS plan – provision, people, places and popularity, until it is appropriate in its time. That also takes a lot of pressure off of me. Because if it isn’t God’s timing yet for the funding, it won’t happen, no matter how hard I try to get it. He has HIS plan on how to fund this film. When it is the appropriate time, He will provide it. Honestly, it truly is that simple. But I have to make sure that I have done my part, in doing what I am supposed to be doing. In all honestly, I wasn’t happy that I had to change the script again. But how could I not, after I saw the impact Summer Ray’s point of view had in the first book? The script needed the new life that her point of view gave it. Was it extra work or was it finishing the rest of the work? I believe the first set of books and the first screenplay was the foundation needed to build the story on. https://thememoirsofsummerray.com/2024/04/20/a-solid-foundation-matters/. I am blown away at how Summer’s first person view, made the story increase in its value. But God has the viewers in mind too. This isn’t just for Juliana Love. This is for the readers and the viewers and those He wants to reach. This is my job in His kingdom. I am not a preacher, teacher, pastor or evangelist. I am a storyteller and this is how He chose for me to do His work – His mission to reach the lost. It is why I have our Summer Ray Light the World (slogan).
