THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

Happy Fall! Wow! It has been almost a month since my last blog. I have been very busy with doctor appointments. But the show must go on. I am so excited with the new Summer Ray book covers. https://thememoirsofsummerray.com/the-summer-ray-book-series/. I knew they needed to be leveled up to tell more of the story. It took years to do so as I have updated them so many times, I have lost count. But that is our dedication to this project. It is real and it is concrete. We will keep leveling up until we get it to the best it can be. But that takes a lot of writing, rewriting, writing some more and then more rewriting. It takes more research, brainstorming and perseverance. But this project and you, are so worth it!

Colonel Henry Knox, of the Continental Army, after crossing the Delaware he stated,

“Perseverance accomplished what at first seemed impossible.”

No one said this project would be easy, nor that it wouldn’t take time to get it accomplished. I never get tired of the story. I do, however, get a little impatient at times. I can visibly see it on screen and I just want the world to see it too. Our director, Tony, decided to make the next video 15-20 minutes. This video will be closer to what the film looks like. The Proof of Concept video shows the idea of the story and what it could look like. This next and (very exciting) video will show more of that it does look like. To few the POC video, click on this link and scroll down https://thememoirsofsummerray.com/. We just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Sometimes it feels like we take steps backwards. But it is true, isn’t it? The book covers had to be changed. But in doing so, I was also able to tweak some of the story in the books that make the books of better quality. So the steps back, made for giant leaps forward. Next spring, I hope to start the book tour. It all depends on my health as to how far I can travel yet. But I can do book signings that are closer to home. So, we will start there first. I will absolutely post details. The accomplished series, is all in God’s hand. But we still must continue to move forward with the pilot. Tony said the script is exactly where it needs to be. We do not need to “tweak” it anymore. It is a finished product that we can now start to work toward production. This next video, is part of the process to getting there.
