THE MEMOIRS OF SUMMER RAY

Upgrades keep upgrading! My fiscal sponsor Carole Dean of From the Heart Productions (www.fromtheheartproductions.com) emailed this to me: “Dear Juliana, I love the fact that you are always improving your craft.  Always! ” One thing I know for sure, is that we will only get one shot to make this pilot a smashing success. If it is not, the rest of the series will not follow as a live production. To me, that would be a great loss. So, I am doing everything I possibly can to keep leveling up my work. But, some of it is forced on me because I choose to learn new stuff. I have to keep up with the industry standards. Amazon is changing their structures and how to use their algorithms. It’s not something I fully understand. But because I am also a book author and we are promoting the book series of Summer Ray as well, I need to take the necessary time to get an understanding. Creating the buzz around the books will help to promote the pilot.(https://thememoirsofsummerray.com/the-summer-ray-book-series/) But time has been spent on the script to make it as professional as possible. Why? Because we must be taken seriously. The extra time I put into the project to make sure that is has quality, shows any one who donates, invests or who wants to be part of our cast and crew that we really are legitimate. But not only that, it shows that we are serious about finishing the project and that we won’t quit half way into production. We will not waste anyone’s time and money with frivolous promises. But it takes hard work to level up and to have to upgrade, an already previous upgrade. But in many cases, cutting corners can be deadly. What is fast, easy and cheap, doesn’t mean it is the safest, strongest and the best. We are in our 14th year of the project. I am always working on improving because I want to bring to the world, the best we have to offer. Believe me, I listen when someone tells me I need to fix something. But on the other hand, if I know what they are saying is absolutely against the integrity of the project, I tell them, “Thanks,” but, “No thanks.” I am bringing a story that is meant to save souls from Satan’s grip.

This is a huge responsibility and my ability to influence someone – is very scary to me. I take it very seriously. My standards are high because I know I have to answer to God.

I have been accused of promoting Satan by people and yes, some of them are Christians, who refuse to acknowledge his existence, or they are too afraid to ruffle his feathers. I have been accused of breaking God’s guidelines by promoting evil. I am not one who will sweep it under a rug and tap dance around it, while it wreaks havoc and destruction on our lives. I want God to call me someday, “A good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23 KJV) That day is coming, whether you believe it our not. We all will stand before Him and give an account on how we lived our lives.

Although there are many wonderful reviews, there are still those who criticize. People can scoff at what they think I am promoting, but in all actuality, I am exposing! This is a faith based series. I cannot have angels without demons. This is an historical fiction series. I cannot have Yankee soldiers without Confederate ones. This is a drama series. I cannot have happiness without the sorrow, or the ups without the downs. I mean seriously, all in all, the story of Summer Ray is just that, a story! And it is one that we hope you and your family will connect to, for many years to come!
