Carole talks about the use of vision boards. I know I have blogged about this before. But I wasn’t quite ready to piece mine together. So, I actually put the idea on the shelf. Then there was information about it again in her recent newsletter. https://fromtheheartproductions.com/from-dream-to-screen-vision-boards-for-filmmakers/. As of yesterday, 10/30/2025, I have officially started my vision board. I began with the film festivals I wanted to submit the script to. But once the Pitch Deck is completed, I also have hundreds of storyboards that I can choose from to submit those things as well. We will also be working on a new teaser trailer. Yes! The list is long to get accomplished. But this time, everything is now being done professionally. From the Heart is where I met Adam. He is brilliant. I am about to release the 2nd Summer Ray book, Savannah’s Calling and I will be doing a video about the books here soon. But he designed the book covers, he’s creating the Pitch Deck, poster, and will help on the teaser trailer. Those are just in the immediate future. Getting the books updated is priority. I plan to have them finished by March 1, 2026!

I had to learn the art of not comparing. Summer Ray, come February, will have completed 17 years and starting our 18th. It is unreal to me. But this is how I know God is with this project. I would have quit a long time ago if He wasn’t. But I read a question the other day that ignited my zeal and fervor for this project. Sometimes we get so caught up in the doing that we forget why we are doing it!

WHO IS IN HEAVEN BECAUSE OF YOU?

That question is the reason Summer Ray exists. Who is in Heaven because of you? It’s the core of the entire project – to help mankind find their way to Jesus; to be a light in an incredibly dark world.
