MY FAMILY
I am a very blessed mother of four adult children; Nicole, Susan, Chris and Taylor; as well as a very blessed mother in law; Kevin, Renny; Emily and Addy! I am a happy Grammy to Hendrix, Azariah, Cillian, Josiah and Barley. I am forever grateful to Almighty God for my family.

Why Am I An Author/Screenplay Writer/Blogger?
After I became critically injured with a Traumatic Brain Injury, I could no longer work a normal 9-5 job. I have always been one who thirsted for knowledge and you could say that I am, “addicted to the written word.” I buy books all the time. I just never thought I would end up as an author myself or someone who would actually write a screenplay or blogs https://thememoirsofsummerray.com/julianas-movie-blogs/.
I certainly never dreamed of having my work read all over the world. But I am a dreamer now and it’s truly an honor, for which, I am sincerely grateful. Thank you!
Why Summer Ray? How Did I Come Up With The Idea For the Story?

The short version is that I had no intentions of writing such a story. I went to Big Round Top in Gettysburg on February 09, 2009, to do research for another book I was writing. But after I slipped and fell on the ice and snow, by the time I got to the bottom of the hill I had this crazy idea for a story. Here we are, almost seventeen years later. It’s undeniably the hand of God!
What is the Mission?
The Light of Hope!
I called the series, “Summer Ray,” because I wanted to be a light in an increasingly dark world. So many people are hurting and losing hope. Our mission with the book and film series is to “Light the World.” Although the story itself has some very harsh realities, there are also some very amazing truths as well. Christianity is not a picnic. It is war between Satan and Jesus. “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (NIV) But in the story of Summer Ray, I do not sugarcoat war; whether between angels and demons, demons and humans, or between Union and Confederates. George Washington once stated, “War is Hell.” Many Christians do not want to discuss the dark side – the demonic side. But that isn’t truth. Many people are bound by demons and need to be free but there again, many Christians do not want to discuss that. So, how can people get free? I have to give an account to Almighty God someday. I want to give an account that I did what I needed to do, to seek out and save the lost. At the end of every book I write, there is also a prayer for Salvation. It is the hope of this author to bring people to Jesus and out of the hands of the devil who wants to destroy them and send them to Hell. It is the longing of this author, to give people the light hope that life can get better. I am living proof! But you cannot quit and give up.
